Hi!

I'm an art teacher, mom, and artist. I've been teaching over 20+ years in public, private, homeschool contexts, summer art camps, and inner city volunteer programs. I'm currently the art teacher at a private, Christian, elementary school in St. Louis, MO. My calling is to promote, share, and encourage a creative life.

I'm in a season where my experiences, learning, and failures may be useful and helpful to others who are either just starting out or somewhere along the way. I believe in the power of community and collaboration. I'm a recent empty nester, with four young adult children who are all in creative fields (musician/producer, printmaker/graphic comic novelist, pastry chef, and musician/writer). I wonder how that happened, lol?

So, I've had this project idea for a website on the backburner for awhile. I'm not tech savvy at all, but I'm learning new skills and expanding my sense of how I'm creative. Watercolor and ink is my jam, not this. But I'm being brave and wow, it's coming together, one post, link, and idea at a time. Patience is a virtue.

I hope you can find something helpful or inspiring on my site! If I'm lacking something on it, it's probably not because I don't care or want to, but am still figuring out the how. Thanks for your grace and patience.
